In our layered PSD files the items, shadows/reflections and backgrounds are distributed on separate layers. This feature will allow a graphic artist to manipulate each layer individually. Shadows can be lightened or darkened to match the background surface with realistic results. Backgrounds can be altered or exchanged entirely thereby giving the image a completely different look for use in multiple adworks without the expense of reshooting.

As well, and most importantly, the items’ edge pixels are feathered in the same manner as the items’ were photographed. That is, edges that appear closer to the viewer are sharper than receding edge pixels. This affords a seamless blend with the background and eliminates the “cut-out” appearance of poorly composited images and primitive “clipping paths”.
